Swimming Pool

Swiming Pool

  • The swimming pool remains at the center of the whole structure and easily accessible from every room
  • It is available to all guests staying at Westmoreland Lodge
  • It is at ambient temperature
  • Towels and cloths are made available on request
  • Chairs, deck chairs and umbrella are available
  • It is always open from 1st October to 31st March except for the winter period
  • Checked every day for cleaning and sanitizing through chlorine

Breakfast

Our breakfast is available from 8:00 to 11:00 and is served both ways BUFFET or PLATE SERVICE

Plate Service Breakfast:

in combination with the buffet you can choose to order freshly prepared hot dishes from the waiter, such as: eggs hard-boiled or scrambled, crispy bacon, grilled tomatoes, etc.

The cost is 70 Rand per person and is included in the B&B rate
The service is available, upon reservation, also for guests who are staying overnight (just ask for it at the reception)

Parking

Parking

Parking is one of our strong points because you can park your car inside the structure for free, in total safety.
There are 3 parking areas inside the Lodge and we recommend that you ask at the reception on the day of your arrival how and where to park.
You will be given the key and the gate remote control to enter and exit the car parking area.
If there is not enough space to park contact the reception who will find the best solution to satisfy your needs.

Laundry Service

The laundry service is available to guests who intend to wash and dry their clothes or those of their children.
The service can be booked or requested in the morning at the reception, you will have to deliver a bag to the housekeeper who after washing, drying and folding your clothes will deliver them directly to your room.
The service is a paid service and it costs:
5 Rand for each item of clothing or
75 Rand for a complete wash, i.e. a load of customized washing machine

Daily Cleaning

Inside the structure we have our housekeepers who clean the entire structure.
The guest's rooms are cleaned every day, including bed making, bathroom cleaning, flooring and everything that is considered necessary for greater daily comfort.
If for any reason you do not want to use this service, please notify the reception which will exclude this service.
To facilitate the performance of the service, we ask you to vacate the rooms in the morning to allow our housekeepers to rearrange your room.
If you do not vacate your room by 2pm, the cleaning service will be moved to the following day.

Wi-Fi

The whole structure is covered by Wi-Fi for internet connection, which is included in the rate.
Both the rooms, and the common spaces and even the gardens are covered by the service, so you can feel comfortable that for any need you have, whether it is family, personal or for work, you will have internet coverage wherever you are inside the structure.
We point out that in South Africa the service is sometimes not 100% efficient and you may find some problems that clearly do not depend from us but on national networks.
In any case, if you encounter any connection problems, contact the Reception who will be able to show you how to solve the problem.
We invite you to avoid connections to download movies, music or any files that could absorb the potential and speed made available to all guests.
The Internet is a common good and as such we invite you to make conscious and responsible use of it.
We guarantee Internet service and you help us to respect it and make it accessible to all other guests

Pet Friendly

Pets such as the most common dogs and cats are welcome in our facility.
We care that every guest can travel and stay with their 4-legged friend and that's why we facilitate the stay for those who own a pet ...
Just as for humans we have established rules for our friends who serve both to protect those who own an animal and to protect other guests who may not have much affinity with them:

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

  1. Health Booklet - Every pet must have the identification document in order with the relative mandatory vaccines required by law.
  2. Registry Office Certificate - each animal must have with it the certificate attesting its ownership.
  3. Passport - If coming from abroad, you must also have a passport in addition to the Health Card Certificate

REGULATIONS

We apologize in advance to the sensitivity of those who love pets but the rules listed below have been introduced because someone in the past has given us very embarrassing problems ...

  1. The animals pay a fee for the stay justified both by the extra management that it entails and by the necessary cleaning to keep the rooms always sanitized.
  2. Abuse or behavior that in any way affects the well-being of the animal is not accepted within the facility.
  3. The presence of the animal must be communicated during the booking phase.
  4. The Management reserves the right to accept the animal if it does not comply with what the guest declared.
  5. Animals must always be under the control of their owner (leash, on the ground and not on chairs and tables reserved for the public, muzzle in case of aggression or fear by some guest in the common areas).
  6. The guest must be adequately equipped for the animal's well-being.
  7. The use of bed linen and towels for pets is prohibited ... if you do not have your sheets for the grooming or cleaning of your animals, please request them at the reception.
  8. If your pet is used to sit on sofas or bed, use a towel designed for your pet, if you don't have one with you, please request it at the reception.
  9. The behavior of the animal must be managed by the owner so as not to disturb other guests.
  10. It is forbidden to leave them alone in the rooms all day, it will be tolerated up to a maximum of 8 hours.
  11. The extra fee is used to restore environmental hygiene in the rooms occupied by the animals in order to respect the following guest who will occupy the room.
  12. The Management reserves the right to withdraw from the residence contract if the guest does not comply with the regulation.

The following regulation does not penalize in any way neither the owner nor the animal, rather it regulates the behavior in common and public areas for the correct coexistence between who loves animals and those who tolerate them little in their vicinity.

Airport Shuttle

Airport-ShuttleWestmoreland Lodge, it's just 15 km from Johannesburg's Or Tambo Airport, offers its guests a shuttle service to reach our structure upon reservation.

  • The shuttle service is a utility and constitutes an extra 200 Rand for up to 4 people
  • If a child is present among the passengers, please contact us.
  • One piece of baggage per person, excluding extraordinary equipment. Additional baggage may incur surcharges.
  • Shuttle transport is subject to booking in order to guarantee the service

In order to guarantee an efficient and punctual service, we invite you to book the transfer in advance immediately after making the reservation by contacting the telephone number found in the booking email.

How to Book the Car Rental Service

  1. Contact Westmoreland Lodge after booking your stay
  2. Specify the date and time of pick up and delivery of the car at the Lodge
  3. Choose the car and specify the gear preference if Automatic or Manual
  4. Clarify all regulatory issues with the Westmoreland Lodge Manager
  5. Valid driving license to be sent by email or whatsapp in advance
  6. Minimum age: 21 years old.
  7. Credit or prepaid card valid only to book the chosen car and date and time
  8. Credit card with embossed numbers to pick up the car in the name of the person who has a driving license or who books the rental (prepaid or other debit cards are not accepted)
  9. Credit Limit necessary for the deposit when picking up the car.
  10. Wait by e-mail for your reservation and check all the details of the contract
